Happy New Music Friday. We made it once again. Our reward this week is a ton of new music. The biggest release of the week is probably Rauw Alejandro’s new album Vice Versa. You can read our review here!

We also have new music from J Balvin, Bad Bunny (!), Nio Garcia, Farruko, Mariah Angeliq, Sofia Reyes, Luis Fonsi, David Bisbal, and many others. For last week’s post, click here.

Without further ado, let’s get it.

AM (Remix) – Nio Garcia, J Balvin, Bad Bunny

Things you love to see – this.

Bad Bunny and J Balvin reuniting on a track is huge. AM was already a good song when it was just Nio Garcia. Adding Balvin and Bad Bunny is just adding jet fuel to a fire. Even Jay Wheeler agrees.

These are the kind of major releases that New Music Friday is built off of.

Bobo – Mariah Angeliq, Bad Gyal, Maria Becerra

Mariah Angeliq just keeps on climbing up the charts and kicking ass. She’s really making that push for best new artist of the year. This is a very good track. Becerra and Bad Gyal also crush it. The female future of reggaeton is looking very good.

Pepas – Farruko

How good is this song? I was singing along to it before it had even ended the first time I heard it. This is definitely the kind of song that needs to be in a club DJ’s repertoire. It’s provocative, it gets the people going.

Casualidad – Sofia Reyes, Pedro Capo

Sofia Reyes is the love of my life. Just have to throw that out there. Will that skew my opinion of Casualidad? Probably.

Update – it did. While I can freely admit this is not the best Sofia Reyes song I’ve ever heard. But, that doesn’t mean it’s bad by any means. It’s a pretty decent track that you can enjoy time and time again.

Dos Veces – David Bisbal, Luis Fonsi

This is a pretty solid song from two artists who I’ve always viewed as pretty similar. This isn’t one of those songs that will blow your socks off but it’s a song you probably won’t turn off if it comes on.

De PG13 a Triple X – Alexis y Fido, Miky Woodz

Alexis y Fido are OGs in the reggaeton game. They’ve been doing this for years and years now. This isn’t one of their classics but it’s a good entry into their long discography. Miky Woodz had a moment a few years ago but has been relatively quiet since. Hopefully this is a return to form for him.

Al Capone – Eladio Carrion

I like a lot Carrion’s music. This just does nothing for me. Not great.

Para Mi Viejo- Willy Chirino, Leoni Torres

This isn’t the song for a party or anything like that. This is just a good, relaxed song with a light Caribbean vibe. It’s a song that’s fast enough to make you want to move but not fast enough to actually make you dance. It’s a good vibe.

En La Luna – Boza

Boza is one of those artists who’s clearly very popular but somehow hasn’t burst into the mainstream in the ways artists like Rauw Alejandro and Jhay Cortez have. Keep an eye out for him to make that jump soon. This is another good step in that direction. Good song.

Baecation – LATENIGHTJIGGY, Mozart La Para

This is a good song from LATENIGHTJIGGY. This him reaching back and throwing a 95mph fastball right down the middle. This is exactly the kind of track he thrives on. This isn’t necessarily the kind of music I’ll pop on but it’s pretty solid nonetheless.

Nenita – Manuel Medrano

I have a playlist called Late Night Driving. This is the exact kind of song that would fit on it. This a good pop song with some tastes of rock ballad. It’s addicting and pensive at the same time. Great track.

Hope you got some new tracks out of this week’s New Music Friday. If you’re still here, please follow us on social media and share this post. It helps a lot.
