Mark my words, Eladio Carrion will be one of this year’s biggest breakout stars.
Carrion’s new album debuted today (1/8/2021) and immediately established itself as one of the premier debuts of the week. The majority of the album sees Carrion on his own but collaborations with J Balvin, Lunay, and Yandel help to push the album forward.
If you hear a number of these songs at house parties in the near future, don’t be surprised. Nena Buena, Tata, Toretto, Progresso, and Discoteca are some of my favorites from my first listen-through. Ele Uve – Remix was released a few weeks ago as a single and has held a major spot in my rotation ever since. Ele Uve – Remix is one of the strongest songs not only on the album but in Carrion’s overall library as well. Carrion establishes the mood immediately. Intro likely won’t get the same play as the rest of album but it holds it own against some of the better tracks.
If Carrion continues releasing tunes like these, he will be a major star before no time. Look for him to break out in 2021 like Jhay Cortez did in 2020. An impressive sophomore album from Carrion. I’m excited to see what comes next from him.
Final Review – 7.5/10
Listen to the new album below and sound off in the comments.
PS – If this isn’t enough Eladio for you, he also appears on Natti, Karol, Becky with a ton of other artists. This song is MEGA collab between 8 artists and named after the three leading ladies of reggaeton, Natti Natasha, Karol G, and Becky G. You can listen below.
