Natti Natasha is here with the biggest new album of the week. This 17 track release is just the 3rd studio album from the Dominican artist. This is also Natti’s first album as a mother. Her and her manager Raphy Pina announced the birth of their first child in late May 2021.

Now let’s get to the music. I usually don’t talk about singles off of albums in their reviews but we have to talk about “Noches en Miami”. This song is a certified banger. It’s one of my favorite songs of the year, hands down. The remix makes me want to go to a rave and lose my mind, so that’s good too. The other single that really stands out is “Las Nenas” which I have enjoyed since it was released.

Of the new songs on the album, I really liked a few of them. “Hablando de Mi”, “Cuento Breve”, and “Fue Tu Culpa” are some of the new songs that I really enjoyed. It took me a bit but “Hablando de Mi” really sounds like “P.I.M.P” by 50 Cent. I can’t wait to see one of those comparisons that people do on social media. To me, that similarity shows some of her musical roots and where she comes from. “Cuanto Breve” shows the most underrated part of Natti’s repertoire, her bachata chops. This is one of her best bachata tracks without a doubt.

When it comes to songs that I didn’t care for, there are only a few . I didn’t really care for “Arrebata” or “Eleven”. I just didn’t connect or vibe with these songs. Its important to add that this album is lacking some balance. While Natti is mainly an urban artist now, we could have used some more bachata or slow tracks to show her different strengths.

Final Thoughts

Natti Natasha gives us an enjoyable album here. There are plenty of good tracks to sink your time into including “Noches En Miami”, “Cuanto Breve”, and “Hablando de Mi”. Where the album struggles is in it’s lack of balance between Natti’s different strengths. More bachata and slower tracks would have served her well here. Overall, this is an enjoyable album well worth your time.
