Ladies and gentlemen, it is New Music Friday once again. This week flew by but the weekend is here and that’s just what we need.
This week we have new music from Gente de Zona, Maria Becerra, Rosalia, Natti Natasha, Nio Garcia, and more! We also have the highly anticipated Trap Cake Vol 2 from Rauw Alejandro. You can read our review here (when live).

Without further ado, let’s get after it.
Felices x Siempre – Maria Becerra
Becerra is going to be a big deal this year. Singles like this are going to be major steps in that direction. This isn’t my favorite song of hers but its a pretty solid entry.
Chicken Teriyaki – Rosalia
Call me ignorant but I don’t get it. Either I’m totally missing the boat here or this just isn’t good. Hard to tell which it is.
WOW BB – Natti Natasha, El Alfa, Chimbala
This song is just fine. There’s nothing special about it. It’s like Kirk Cousins – adequate but don’t expect anything great.
Arrepentio – Aleesha, Nicki Nicole, Taichu, Juicy Bae
I can get down with this. I like female artists pushing into the trap space. This is a pretty good track that expands their share of the market, even if by a bit. If it wasn’t clear by now, Nicki Nicole is seriously talented and on her way to huge things.
Clasico – Ryan Castro, OVI
These two are artists to keep an eye on. Big fan of this track and everything these two are doing. It feels like they’re in this post every week and that is a very good thing.
Ultimo Adios – Sante Fe Klan, Gera MX
I honestly expected this to suck. Spoiler – it doesn’t. This is actually my front runner for best New Music Friday release of the week. There’s always something about Latin songs that heavily rely on guitars to supply the beat that I love. This song hits on every level for me.
Q’Lona – Gente De Zona
This song doesn’t get you moving like a Gente de Zona song usually would. It’s much more of a mid-tempo pop song when these two are renowned for their salsa/salsaton tracks. Kind of a weird choice if you ask me. Honestly, this song is boring. Shame.
Baila Bien – vf7, Nio Garica
I may have spoken too soon when I said “Ultima Adios” was my favorite new song of the week. This is right there. I really like the blend of bachata with some urban rhythms. vf7 continues to be a killer. Love stuff like this.
DELITO_V13.wav – Khea, Zecca
I don’t really know what to write here. This wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good. It just kind of exists. If purgatory was a song, this would be it.
Reaction – Brytiago
I don’t remember Brytiago’s last release but he’s always been a very good and consistent artist. This is not different. It’s a shame he never popped like I thought he would back in like 2015.
La Que Hay – Cosculluela
I guess Cosculluela can still bring it. This like seeing Randy Johnson get up on the mound and throw a 90mph fastball right past you at age 40. This is a really good track from Consculluela. Definitely one of the best releases of the week.
