Ladies and gentlemen, it’s New Music Friday once again. We’re coming off a fun St. Patrick’s Day and rolling into another week of New Music Friday Releases.

This week we have new songs from Wisin & Yandel, Myke Towers, Eladio Carrion, Nio Garcia, Jay Wheeler, and more! We also have a new album from Rosalia (you can read our review here when live).

Without further ado, let’s get to it.

Te Veo Bailar – DJ Nelson, Wisin & Yandel, Baby Rasta & Gringo, Brray, Alejandro Armes

I’ll be honest, I didn’t expect what this track ended up being. I expected something a lot more party-esque. Once those expectations were dropped, I found a fun reggaeton track with a ton of artists that have pulled together impressive discographies. I loved the chorus from Baby Rasta as well as Wisin’s verse.

De a De Veras – Natanael Cano, Codiciado

Is it possible to have a folksy sounding urban track? The existence of this song answers that question. This is a unique song that I can’t say I fully get down with, but it’s good if you’re into Cano’s corrido tumbado style.

Tendencia Global – Blessd, Myke Towers, Ovy on the Drums

I don’t hate this song by any means but it’s not really anything too special. It’s pretty standard and average.

Nadie – Miky Woodz, Nio Garcia, Jay Wheeler

When you get these three artists together, you would really expect something more along the lines of a perreo banger. That isn’t really what we get here. It’s a softer, more reflective song. This is a song you listen to as you’re driving home with the windows down. It isn’t a party song. It’s good for what it is.

Ausente – Tito Flow, Amenazzy, Eladio Carrion

Kind of like the last song I mentioned, this is a much softer song than I probably would have expected. I like this a lot more than the last one I talked about but make sure you know what to expect when you go in.

Influencer – Kevvo

I’ll be short and sweet. I don’t like this song.

Pantysito – Alejo, Feid, ROBI

I’m not through all of this week’s songs but this is one of my favorites of this New Music Friday. This hits the right tone and perfectly combines all of the different concepts that it needs to. What I mean by that is that it’s mellow but still maintains the excitement at its core that one needs to get down with it. Good stuff here. Alejo is on my watchlist now.

Hablando de Love – Tiago PZK

I don’t really know where to peg this release. I don’t know what genre it technically falls under other than maybe pop. PZK is trying to carve out his own spot in Latin music. This isn’t what will put him on the map but it’s probably a step in the right direction.

Inocente – Cosculluela

This new stage of Cosculluela’s career is an interesting one. I don’t know that I love it. It’s fine and different but that doesn’t add up to good. Unfortunately, I think he’s starting down a backwards slide.
