This week we had a few early submissions to New Music Friday. As always we have a ton to go through. This week saw the release of Myke Tower’s highly anticipated album Lyke Myke. We’ll have that review at the link here when it’s ready. We will also have a review of Duki’s new album here as well.

This week we also have new music from Daddy Yankee, Becky G, Natti Natasha, Maluma, Arcangel, Piso 21, Prince Royce, and many many more.

Let’s get it.

Ram Pam Pam – Becky G, Natti Natasha

The Queens of Reggaeton are back. Their song Sin Pijama is one the biggest hits in recent history so whenever Becky G and Natti Natasha get together, it’s must listen to. This song isn’t as good as Sin Pijama but the two definitely stick to the formula that works. I like this song and will definitely be jamming out to it this summer.

Rumba (Puro Oro Anthem) – Maluma

I’m willing to bet the people at Michelob went to Maluma and said, “we need a summer song” and just left the room. They got exactly what they paid for. This song makes me want to kick back on the beach and have a few beers. In a weird way, it reminds me of that song Let’s Summer that Maluma made a few years back for a sandals company.

El Pony – Daddy Yankee

Daddy Yankee is 45. Bet you didn’t know that. You also can’t tell that from the way he raps. He still has all of the skill and swagger that he had when he was just getting into the game 30 years ago. This isn’t the best DY song of the last few years but it’s still a decent single.

Montoya – Arcangel, Farina

This song is only 2.5 minutes long but it feels longer than that. I don’t mean that in an insulting way or anything like that. Just kind of a statement of fact. I like this song, but wouldn’t say it’s anything earth shattering.

Pues – R3HAB, Luis Fonsi, Sean Paul

I don’t take much pleasure in saying this but this disappointed me. R3HAB is one of the hottest producers/DJs in music right now and this song isn’t anything special. If you didn’t tell me he was on the track, I probably wouldn’t have been able to tell. It’s a shame that this song wasted the international power of Luis Fonsi and Sean Paul. There’s a lot of firepower here and it doesn’t turn into anything memorable. Shame.

Me Enamora – Lenny Tavarez, Zion & Lennox

Call me crazy but I have a feeling Lenny Tavarez is going to drop a heater of an album this year. His recent string of singles have been nothing short of great. This song is very good reggaeton track and very fun to listen to. Zion & Lennox rarely miss which really makes this song enjoyable.

Doctor – Mau y Ricky, Prince Royce, Piso 21, JonTheProducer

I mean, this has got to be one of the best lineup of tropical/summer artists, no? The only person missing from this song is Manuel Turizo. This song is the perfect chill, mellow reggaeton-lite track that anyone can enjoy. Just crack open a few drinks, get the grill going, and just soak up the rays.

Cascada – Duki

I said a few weeks ago that I wanted to hear more from Duki. This is exactly what I was looking for. I’ll have a review of this album up soon, so stay tuned.

Rutina – Lenny Tavarez, Alexis y Fido, Kevvo

I know I already talked about Tavarez’s other single earlier but I really like this song. It’s old school perreo through and through. Alexis y Fido are one of those duos that give a song credibility, especially when they’re aiming for a vibe like this. Stick it on your club reggaeton playlists. Banger
