Ladies and gentlemen, it is New Music Friday once again. This week might be a little lighter on

Without further ado, let’s get after it.

Paulo Londra – Bzrp Session #23

Paulo Londra’s comeback is in full effect. I love the Rocky sounds that Biza adds in here. This is one of the best Bizarap sessions in a while. Great stuff.

Winnie Pooh – Dimelo Flow, Reik, Jay Wheeler, Boza

I don’t know what I expected from this song but I don’t know that I was expecting it to be a very Reik song with some reggaeton verses. It’s a very easy going song that you can enjoy on your porch with a beer in the summer heat. Can’t do too bad with that.

Brisa – Zion & Lennox, Danny Ocean

Danny Ocean is known for making some unique sounds. This is the kind of refresh that I think Zion & Lennox need at this point in their careers. I can get down with this one.

Ya Acabo – Marca MP, Becky G

Talk about an addition to sad hours. I haven’t heard a sad Mexican track like this in a long time. This song does a fantastic job of creating a unique mood. With this song playing I feel like I’m walking into a dusty old dive bar with two people a few musicians sitting in the corner playing. Very impressive.

Solo – Carlos Vivies

I’m very much looking forward to Vives’s new album. He always projects such a love for Colombia and it’s native music. That joy and love are projected here. I very much enjoyed this track.

Equivacado – Piso 21, Santa Fe Klan

This didn’t really hit for me. It was very much a Sante Fe Klan track vs a Piso 21 song. In that respect, Piso 21 couldn’t really compete here. This just didn’t hit like it should have for me.

La Fiesta – Pedro Capo

This is pretty solid pop-rock track. I don’t really have much more to add than that’s pretty alright. That’s about it.

Bandidos – Reykon

Reykon never really popped off like I thought he would. He puts out a lot of very decent tracks but not too many homeruns. This isn’t a home run but it’s a solid double, looking for three.

Una Vaina Loca (R3HAB Remix) – Fuego, Manuel Turizo, Duki

What’s interesting about this track for me is that it proves the axiom that if you start with weak ingredients the final product can only be so good. This song is a remix of a remix. The song it’s remixing wasn’t a very inspired remix and this song feels like it wastes the R3HAB spin on it. Certainly a New Music Friday let down.
