It’s new Music Friday and we have plenty of new hits to go through. It’s 4th of July here in the US and that means its truly the height of summer now.
This week we have new music from J Balvin, Paulo Londra, Juan Magan, Carlos Vives, Wisin, and more!

Without further ado, let’s get after it.
Luces – Paulo Londra
The Paulo Londra comeback tour is in full swing. The first of two songs this week is a EDM song made for the clubs. I actually like this a lot. It won me over pretty quickly. Good stuff.
Nublado – Paulo Londra
Instead of two club songs, we have more of a punk rock song. This song sounds like it came out of an ATV game for the original Xbox like 20 years ago. This genre isn’t my favorite so I won’t be listening to this again. If you like that kind of music, this could be your jam.
Nivel de Perreo – J Balvin, Ryan Castro
I know this song is going to blow up and all that but it’s not really my cup of tea. I’m as big of a Balvin fan as they come but this doesn’t really hit the right notes for me. I’m going to just get used to hearing this song because it’ll be a hit but let the record reflect, I’m not a fan.
Mojadero – Arcangel, Revol
I’ll be short and sweet; I’m not going to listen to this song again.
Volar – Wisin, Chris Andrew, Alejo, Los Legendarios
This isn’t a greatest hit for Wisin but it’s a good enough song that you’ll listen to, enjoy, but ultimately forget. It’s like a McDonald’s Quarter Pounder. It’ll get the job done but you’re not going to tell your local paper that McDonald’s should get a Michelin star.
Berlin – Zion & Lennox, Maria Becerra
A certified hit. This should be played in every club from now on. Zion & Lennox are very smart for making the transition to EDM music. This is a great showcase of what they have to offer at this stage in their career.
Mañana – Juan Magan
This isn’t going to be a song that makes anyone a Juan Magan fan but it also won’t lose him any fans. It’s fine but nothing really special.
Te Soñe – Carlos Rivera, Carlos Vives
Carlos + Carlos make a great duo. This isn’t going to win my award for best release of the week but I’m definitely a fan of this track.
Agua Salada – Marc Segui
Segui is one of those young artists destined for superstardom. This isn’t a pop-reggaeton track like Tiroteo but it’s more of a Spanish pop track. I’m a big fan of this. Great stuff.
Solo Para Ti (Remix) – Alvaro Soler, Topic, Noel Holler
I don’t usually review remixes but this one is pretty solid. I was a fan of the original and this adds a little extra juice to it. Good stuff. Add it to your playlists.
