Happy New Music Friday. This weekend is Easter so I hope you’re ready for plenty of jelly beans and chocolate. I think this also gives us the official beginning of the countdown to summer so get ready for that!
This week we have new songs from Ricky Martin, Zion y Lennox, Reik, Lalo Ebratt, Arcangel, Khea, Ovi, and more!

Without further ado, let’s get after it.
A Veces Bien y A Veces Mal – Ricky Martin, Reik
Let’s get New Music Friday started with the latest addition to my Sad Boy Season playlist. This is one of those classic Ricky Martin ballads that knows how to play with your heart strings. It’s very good and the collab with Reik fits perfectly. Great track.
Tus Labios – Zion & Lennox, Revol
I wasn’t a huge fan of last year’s Zion and Lennox album. I thought that Lennox sounded strained at times, even though Zion hadn’t lost too much of a step. That still generally applies here. This isn’t a greatest hit for the duo but it’s not the worst thing they’ve ever put out. It’s pretty meh, to be totally honest.
Amor Con Odio – Lalo Ebratt, DEKKO, Yera
I liked this a bit more than I was expecting to. Lalo Ebratt is one of those young artists who got off to a hot start but hasn’t really sustained that momentum over the last year or so. This is a step in that right direction. I like this track.
Somos O No Somos – Omy de Oro, Arcangel
This reminds me of Arcangel’s trap period that really popped off a couple years back. I can get down with this track. Omy de Oro has strung together a couple of pretty good songs lately. Arcangel also turns in a pretty good verse as well. This is some good stuff right here.
Young Flex – Khea
Khea is definitely a volume shooter. He’s put out a ton of music lately. This is definitely in his rap wheelhouse. I think he’s his best when he’s blending genres. That being said, I didn’t really care all that much for this track. It’s nothing really special.
Ya Ni Se – Ovi, Noriel, Aleman
Noriel is another guy who has really disappeared after being pretty big a few years ago. This isn’t really a great song in my opinion. I don’t like the beat, for starters. Noriel is also probably the weakest part of this track, if we’re being brutally honest.
Los Que Ma Rapan – Chucky73, Chimbala
I’m going to be honest, I don’t like this song at all. That being said, I know I’m going to hear this at a club this summer. This is definitely the kind of track that Dominican DJs everywhere are looking for. I just don’t like this type at all.
